As the new headquarters for Florida Window and Door, this 2-story building has retail spaces on the ground level and is located on a busy arterial roadway in Lake Worth, FL.

 

Our design sought to turn the existing gloomy appearance around and offer an edifice that was welcoming and energetic. People often confuse successful architecture with whether an area looks pleasant. On the contrary, when it comes to buildings, people often focus too narrowly on aesthetics, but good design is really is about shaping emotional infrastructure. The placement of a building form in relation to its immediate site and neighboring buildings is a crucial aspect in the design.
